The sound level meter can replace different microphones to adapt to various testing requirements. For example, the CRY344 microphone is suitable for testing scenarios with high sound pressure levels, such as aircraft engines and large industrial machinery, with a maximum testing sound pressure level exceeding 170 dB(A). In contrast, for internal noise testing in an anechoic chamber, the CRY311 microphone can be used, reaching a testing lower limit of 15 dB(A) or below. By switching between different microphones, the sound level meter can cover test needs from 15 dBA to 170 dBA.
